Water Activities
-Show globe or picture of earth- point out oceans of water!
-What do you do with water? (might say/suggest swim, bathe, drink, sprinklers, make food, fish swim, beach, fountains, clean clothes, brush teeth, plants need to grow)
-Water Exploration: Sink or Float Activity (in tub of water, drop things in to see if they sink or float,
very simplified versions of these 1st grade lesson plans 1, 2)
-Paint with Water (craft brush, water, construction paper or on sidewalk)
-Watermelon Counting w/ chocolate chips
-Ocean in a bottle
-Free Water Play- measuring cups, funnels, bowls
-Whales- watch part of video of Sea World Shamu Show
